Three Essays, 1793–1795 , translated by ( South Bend, IN : Notre Dame University Press , 1984 ). This contains the ‘Tübingen Essay’ on religion, the Bern fragments and the ‘Life of Jesus’ . Early Theological Writings , ( University of Chicago Press , 1948 ). The Difference Between Fichte's and Schelling's System of Philosophy , ( Albany : State University of New York Press , 1977 ). This was Hegel's first book, published in 1801. It is also translated by J. P. Surber, as Difference between the Fichtean and Schellingian Systems of Philosophy (Atascadero, CA: Ridgeview Press, 1978) . Between Kant and Hegel: Texts in the Development of Post-Kantian Idealism , by ( Albany : State University of New York Press , 1985 ), translates many of Hegel's pieces in CJP , including the ‘Relation of Scepticism to Philosophy’.
