First woman. She was created out of Adam's rib, and lived with him in the Garden of Eden. Seduced by the snake into eating the forbidden fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, she persuaded Adam to eat as well. This act of disobedience was punished by their expulsion from Eden.
