Lvovich, David (1882–1950)

American communal worker. He was born in southern Russia, and was a founder of the Jewish socialist party SS. From 1921 he lived in Berlin, and later settled in Paris (1932–9). He then went to the US where he worked for ORT; he had already served as the vice-chairman of its World Federation since 1921.
