Steinberg, Isaac Nachman (1888–1957)

Russian revolutionary and writer. He was born in Dvinsk, worked as a lawyer in Moscow before World War I. He was arrested and exiled because of his revolutionary activities, but returned to Russia in 1910. In 1917–18 he was commissar for law. Later he lived in Berlin, London, and New York.
