Kadamba script

A southern Indian offshoot of the Brāhmī script first attested in the fifth century ce . By the tenth century the Kadamba script ( table 1 ) had developed into the Old Kanarese script which was widely used across south India and became the parent script of the modern Kanarese (Kannada) and Telugu scripts.
