Anti-Chalcedonian patriarch of alexandria , consecrated on the death of timothy ailouros (477). A fugitive during the reign of the chalcedonian patriarch timothy salophakialos , on the latter's death in 482 he received official recognition from Emperor Zeno since he accepted the henotikon ; indeed, he probably influenced its composition.
