Anti-Chalcedonian patriarch of antioch , consecrated c .469 as rival to the Chalcedonian patriarch Martyrios. Peter displaced him in 471, but was deposed the same year. Returned to office by the usurper Basiliskos, deposed again by Emperor Zeno but later reinstated, he died in office in 488.
