Leased employees are employees of a staffing company who, as a group, take over the operation of an entire function (such as office management) for a client company on a contractual basis. Usually the leased employees are former employees of the client company who are transferred to the payroll of the leasing company, which in turn handles their pay, benefits , and other personnel administration.
