British philosopher of mathematics, logic, language, and metaphysics, born in Bagshot, Professor at University of St Andrews and University of Michigan. Wright has pursued a philosophical program based on intuitionist logic and anti-realist semantics in parallel to similar work by Michael Dummett. His writings on Frege, Wittgenstein, meaning, truth, identity, and vagueness demonstrate his technical skills and philosophical insight.
