Formulation Method Dilution Rate Comments Compatibility Tranexamic acid Ampoule 500 mg/5 mL Cycklokapron Pfizer t/a Pharmacia (UK) Adults : IV bolus NPSA risk rating: 2 Ready diluted May be further diluted to a convenient volume with NS or G Undiluted solution: maximum rate 1 mL/minute Diluted solutions: maximum rate 100 mg/minute Infusion-related adverse events : dizziness and hypotension after rapid administration.
