A journal published in Paris from 1960 to 1982 that under the editorial direction of novelist Philippe Sollers, which became a key source of A vant-garde work in literature and C ritical theory . Concerned with the relations between art and politics, the Tel Quel group explored new conceptions of language and the S ubject , seeking to establish W riting – écriture – as having its own specific and necessary revolutionary force.
