(Tenn.) On 6 February 1862, Brigadier General Ulysses S. G rant's 15,000 Federals (supported by four navy gunboats) took Brigadier General Lloyd Tllghman's garrison, most of which had gone to F ort H enry to avoid capture. USA losses: none. CSA losses: 5 killed, 11 wounded, 63 captured.
